Pudukkottai Village also known as Kulamanickkam(East) in the ancient days, is a village in the Ariyalur taluk of Ariyalur district, Tamil Nadu, India.(Pudukkottai Village ) In Pudukkottai Village there are three Christian churches and one temple.Such as *CSI St.Mary's Church, *RC Mangala Annai Cathetral, *TELC Church and *Hindu temple. In Pudukkottai approximately 700 families are living. Pudukkottai Village is located in the river of Collidam River.so agriculture of the village is very nice.In pudukkottai, though small family, each family has at least one person in teaching profession.These Persons are mainly employed in Ariyalur district Government Schools.In 2000 this village got an award for highly literate Village in Perambalur Dist from Tamil Nadu Chief minister. The village has famous annual 'Matha thiruvizha' which is famous in the district. The festival is celebrated in the first week of Easter. In that week, the village people work together to keep the streets decorated. At night, some programs are conducted.
